An intimate event by renowned mbira artist and cultural educator Gabriel Makamanzi affectionately known as Sekuru. Each one featuring special guests from his talented community of Zimbabwean artists at The Africa Centre.
Sekuru has headlined stages around the world, performing alongside some of the biggest names in African music culture such as Thomas Mapfumo, Stella Chiweshe, Shingai, and his late mentor, Andy Brown. He is widely regarded as one of the most gifted mbira players of his generation, empowering global communities to gain a grander appreciation of African heritage and inspiring all who have the privilege to experience his music.
